Rosario Brucato is an italian film producer, screenwriter, editor and director. He was born on November 23, 1983. He began to be interested in cinema from an early age, having a particular interest in the Hitchcockian suspense.

He graduated in Arts, Music and Performing Arts, presenting a thesis on Hitchcock’s filmography. After, he continued his studies in Performing Arts and Multimedia Production Sciences, which he concluded with the highest grade.

In 2016, he wrote, directed and edited “Don’t Open That Chat“, his first approach to the world of entertainment.

In 2017 he wrote, directed and edited The Different Being, a no-budget short film, that collected several nominations in Los Angeles and New York, won the award in the best indie filmmaker and best first-time director categories at two Los Angeles festivals, got the gold award in the best director category at a third one, won various awards for best film director at various film festivals in Hollywood and as best filmmaker in other international festivals.

In 2020 he wrote, directed and edited The Vanishing Hitchhiker which was presented at the Minneapolis St Paul International Film Festival, won at the Bare Bones International Film Festival and won the Bronze Remi Award at the 54th WorldFest – Houston International Film Festival. On Friday, October 1, 2021 at 9:30 PM, It was screened at the Fright Night Film Festival, at the Triple Crown Pavilion in Jeffersontown, Kentuchy. On October 16, 2021, It was screened at Dickens Horror Film Festival in Longmont, Colorado and will soon be screened online as well. On November 5, 2021, it was screened in Springfield at the Route 66 Film festival. It has won various awards for best film, directing and acting at various festivals across the United States.
